# What You'll Need:
→ Cookie Base
01 - 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
05 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
06 - 1 large egg
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 1 tablespoon milk
→ Decoration
09 - 1 cup white chocolate chips
10 - 24 large white marshmallows
11 - 72 mini chocolate chips
12 - 48 chocolate melts or disks
# Method:
01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
03 - In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until blended.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Stir in the milk to achieve a smooth dough.
05 - Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Gently flatten each ball with the palm of your hand.
06 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges turn lightly golden. Remove from oven and place on wire racks to cool completely.
07 - While cookies cool, melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
08 - Spread a thin layer of melted white chocolate over each cooled cookie.
09 - Press a large white marshmallow near the bottom edge of each cookie to form the paw pad.
10 - Position three mini chocolate chips above each marshmallow for toes, and place two chocolate melts or disks on either side of the marshmallow to create side pads.
11 - Allow the decorations to firm up at room temperature or chill briefly in the refrigerator before serving.
